Representation & Advocacy

MBAA represents the interests of the Business Aviation Community in Malta. Through the EBAA of which the MBAA is a member, the association will represents its members towards all EU policymakers and regulators. The Association will work closely with the local authorities to safeguard competitiveness and ensuring fair and equitable access to the local market place.

Regulatory, Technical and Operational Information

MBAA Members will be informed of the ever-changing regulatory and operational environment. The Association’s regular Members-only communications include Intelligence Reports, EBAA and MBAA Alerts, State of the Market Assessments, Industry Surveys and Studies, EU Policy Papers, Member News and Press Releases.

Events & Networking Opportunities

The MBAA will host all year round training courses in collaboration with the EBAA and other partners  seminars, regional events and IS-BAO and SMS safety courses year-round, allowing Members to share best practices, address the challenges or concerns that face them, and meet regulatory requirements.

MBAA Members have unfettered access to industry and regulatory experts who can provide up-to-the-minute information on the many regulatory, technical and operational issues facing the European Business Aviation community, including Airport Access and Transatlantic issues, Security, the Environment, Flight Time Limitations and other new rules that could affect your business.

Access to Industry Best Practices

To ensure the community maintains the highest standards of safety and professionalism MBAA through the EBAA provides its Members with preferential access to the following: the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO) Manual and Workshops for Corporate Operators, the Safety Management System Toolkit for Commercial Operators (SMS) and a Code of Practice and Accreditation for Approved Handlers and FBOs.
