About us
Promoting excellence and professionalism in the Aviation industry
The Malta Business Aviation Association (MBAA) was established in October 2009 with a clear vision and mission.
Our primary goal is to promote excellence and professionalism among our Members, empowering them to achieve best-in-class safety and operational efficiency. We are dedicated to representing their interests both within Malta and throughout Europe.
At MBAA, we recognize the crucial role business aviation plays in the aviation infrastructure and the Maltese economy. As such, we are committed to ensuring that business aviation receives the recognition it deserves.

Our core priorities include addressing the challenges involved in building further on the last 10 years success of the Maltese jurisdiction and positioning Malta as an ideal location for operating and owning business aircraft. We are actively engaged in navigating the complex landscape of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) rulemaking process, as well as the Maltese Civil Aviation Act.
Additionally, we are focused on collaborating with the authorities to improve access to Malta International Airport, enhancing security measures, and advocating for better facilities to support business aviation operations.
At MBAA, we foster a collaborative environment where our Members can thrive and network, while collectively shaping the future of business aviation in Malta and Europe.
